Human Stromal Cell-Derived Factor-1a (SDF-1a) is a recently discovered protein belonging to the alpha-chemokine (C-X-C) family of cytokines. ||Source:|Recombinant protein corresponding to 68aa residues from human SDF-1a, fused to his-tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli. ||Molecular Weight: |~8kD||Biological Activity:|Determined by its ability to chemoattract human peripheral T cells activated with PHA and IL-2 using a concentration range of 20-80ng/ml.||Endotoxin:|<0.1ng/ug||Storage and Stability:|Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
