Recombinant mouse Platelet Derived Growth Factor (PDGF) is a potent mitogen for a wide range of cell types including fibroblasts, smooth muscle and connective tissue. ||Source:|Recombinant protein corresponding to mouse PDGF-BB, a homodimeric, non-glycosylated, polypeptide of 109aa, expressed in E. coli. ||Molecular Weight: |~24.4kD||Biological Activity:|The ED50, as determined by the dose-dependent proliferation of murine BALB/c 3T3 cells, is <2ng/ml.||Endotoxin:|<0.1ng/ug||Storage and Stability:|Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile acetic acid, 0.1% BSA. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
