PDGF-C plays an essential role in the regulation of embryonic development, cell proliferation, cell migration, survival and chemotaxis. It is required for normal skeleton formation and skin morphogenesis during embryonic stage and for angiogenesis and blood vessel development. A disulfide-linked homodimer, PDGF-C also appears to be involved in all the three stages (inflammation, proliferation and remodeling) of wound healing.||Source:|Recombinant protein corresponding to human PDGFC expressed in E. coli.||Molecular Weight:|~12.5kD||Endotoxin:|<1EU/ug (LAL)||Storage and Stability:|Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
