Human macrophage inflammatory protein-5 (MIP-5), also known as Lkn-1, has been shown to be chemotactic for T-lymphocytes but not for monocytes or granulocytes.||Source:|Recombinant protein corresponding to 92aa residues from human MIP-5, expressed in E. coli. ||Molecular Weight: |~10.1kD||Biological Activity:|Determined by its ability to chemoattract human T lymphocytes using a concentration range of 1.0-10ng/ml.||Endotoxin:|<0.1ng/ug||Storage and Stability:|Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
