Mouse macrophage inflammatory protein-1a (MIP-1a) is part of the CC chemokine family and plays an important role in the inflammatory response of blood monocytes and tissue microphages.||Source:|Recombinant protein corresponding to 69aa residues from mouse MIP-1a, expressed in E. coli. ||Molecular Weight: |~7.8kD||Biological Activity:|Determined by its ability to chemoattract Balb/c splenocytes using a concentration range of 1-10ng/ml.||Endotoxin:|<0.01ng/ug||Storage and Stability:|Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
