Recombinant mouse MCP-1 is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 125aa and having a molecular weight of 13.8kD. The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined to be Gln-Pro-Asp-Ala-Val. Contains less than 1% dimers and aggregates.||Source: \t|E. coli||Molecular Weight:|~13.8kD||Biological Activity:|Calculated by its ability to chemoattract Balb/c mouse spleen MNCs at 1-20ng/ml.||Endotoxin: ≤0.1ng/ug||Storage and Stability:|Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer or ddH2O, 0.1% HSA or BSA. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
