Recombinant Human Erythropoietin-beta is produced in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells by recombinant DNA technology is a single, polypeptide chain containing 165aa and having a predicted molecular mass of 21kD and apparent glycosylated molecular mass of 30.4kD. ||Source:|Recombinant protein corresponding to human EPO-beta, expressed in CHO cells. ||Molecular Weight: |~30.4kD||Biological Activity:|rhEPO-beta is fully biologically active when compared to standard. ||Specific Activity:|Measured by Normocyth-aemic mice was found to be 120,481IU/mg.||Endotoxin:|<0.1ng/ug||Storage and Stability:|Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
