Human recombinant nucleosomes consisting of 147 bp DNA (PCR) and 2 molecules each of histones H2A (a.a.2-130(end)), H2B (a.a.2-126(end)), H3 (a.a.2-137(end)), and H4 (a.a.2-103(end)), expressed in an E. coli expression system. Each histone protein has an N-terminal His-tag. Total histone MW=113.8kD. ||Source:|Recombinant protein corresponding to aa2-137 from histone proteins at the N-Terminus, expressed in E.coli.||Molecular Weight: |~113.8kD||Application:|Substrate for histone methyltransferase assays. Ideal for screening small molecular inhibitors of histone methyltransferases for drug discovery and HTS applications.||Storage and Stability:|May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -80°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
