This gene encodes one of the three enolase isoenzymes found in mammals. This isoenzyme, a homodimer, is found in mature neurons and cells of neuronal origin. A switch from alpha enolase to gamma enolase occurs in neural tissue during development in rats and primates.||Applications: |Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.||Recommended Dilution:|Western Blot: 1:200-1:1000|Immunoprecipitation: 1:200-1:1000|Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:400|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.||Storage and Stability:|May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
