Brucellosis is an infectious disease caused by small ellipsoid, gram-negative bacteria. There are four different germs: Br. abortus, Br. melitensis, Br. suis and Br. canis. People are infected by contact with infected animals or by eating meat or drinking unpasteurized milk from infected animals. As a rule, infected humans are not contagious. Brucellosis is most frequent in young and middleaged individuals.||Applications: |Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.||Recommended Dilutions:|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.||Storage and Stability:|May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
