The microcolumns are prepared by conjugating Agarose with affinity purified Concanavalin A (Jackbean) Lectin (Con A). These microcolumns are used for MS and proteomic analysis to analyze of <100ul samples.||Source:|Jackbean||Blood Specificity:|Relatively weak blood agglutinin||Sugar Specificity:|alpha-Mannose, alpha-Glucose||Conjugate Specificity:|Agarose Beads||Inhibitory Carbohydrate:|alpha-Methylmannoside + alpha-Methylglucoside||Divalent Ions:|Ca++, Mn++||Storage and Stability:|May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
