Yeast thioredoxin reductase is a flavoprotein with a molecular weight of ~35kD and consist of two subunits, each containing one molecule of FAD and catayzes the NADPH-dependent reduction of thioredoxin.||Recombinant corresponding to aa1-319, from yeast Thioredoxin Reductase, expressed in E.coli.| |Molecular Weight:|~34.3kD||Specific Activity:|25.6U/mg (One unit will cause the oxidation of 1umole of NADPH per minute by A412/0.0136×2)||Storage and Stability:|Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
