General Chapter of the USP recommends the use of Sabouraud Dextrose Broth when isolating Candida albicans from nonsterile pharmaceutical products.||Appearance:|Light beige, homogeneous, free flowing.||Solubility:|Light amber, clear to trace hazy.Light amber, clear, complete after autoclaving||pH:|As Reported||Storage and Stability:|Store powdered media at RT. Opened bottles should be capped tightly and kept in a dark, low humidity environment. Prepared media should be kept at 4°C and used within a short period of time.
