Specificity
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of rat Plg. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between rat Plg and analogues was observed.
Test Principle
This BioAssay™ employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with Plg. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody preparation specific for Plg. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with pre-coated Plg and Plg in samples. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of Plg in the samples. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Storage and Stability
Store powder at 4°C liquid at -20°C. Store other components at 4°C. Stable for at least 6 months For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
